Topical gel: Terbinafine is absorbed by the skin after topical application. Lamisil is available in the concentration of terbinafine 10 mg in 1,2-Dichloroethane and dimethicone.
The active ingredient in the topical application is terbinafine hydrochloride. Terbinafine hydrochloride is present in most preparations but can be dispersed in water.
Lamisil is excreted in the form of a cream, ointment, gel or ointment that is applied directly to the skin.
The concentration of terbinafine in the cream, ointment or gel is 5 mg per gram (2.5 ml) of terbinafine.

Skin reactions:
Mild irritation: Rash with itching; blisters or bumps; itching, burning or irritation. Less frequent burning or stinging. Skin reactions: Itching; redness or irritation at the application site. Sensitivity to light. Rarely, allergic reactions.
Gastrointestinal symptoms:
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea; abdominal pain, tenderness or cramps; changes in bowel habits or bloating; nausea or vomiting. Uncommon: Uncommon. Rare: Uncommon.

Lamisil Spray is a generic alternative to the active ingredient terbinafine hydrochloride, which works by inhibiting an enzyme called fungal cell membranes.
This action allows the fungus to attach itself to the skin, causing it to die. It can be used as a treatment for athlete’s foot, jock itch, ringworm, and tinea cruris.
Directions for Use:
Take one Lamisil Spray by mouth once a day, preferably on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before your planned activity. Do not take more than one spray at a time.
For full coverage of the affected areas, apply the spray once a day.
Keep out of reach of children.

Microcrystalline cellulose. Microcrystalline cellulose is a very specific surface area surface active ingredient. It is not a drug.
Administration:
Swallow the Lamisil Spray by mouth with a full glass of water, with or without food. You may notice a slight metallic taste to the mouth, but these symptoms do not need to be taken at this time. Swallow the Lamisil Spray with a full glass of water before eating. If you have trouble swallowing the tablet, swallow it whole with plenty of water.
Warnings:
Lamisil is intended for use as a short-term treatment only, and should not be used by children or adolescents under the age of 18 years. Always read the label and follow the directions for use.
Do not use Lamisil Spray if you are using it in combination with other treatments for fungal infections such as antifungal medications, or over-the-counter antihistamines.
Do not use Lamisil Spray if you are using it with topical cream.
If you are using Lamisil Spray on an empty stomach, do not take more than one spray at a time. If you have trouble swallowing the spray, swallow it whole with plenty of water. If you have trouble swallowing the spray, take it with plenty of water. Do not use it after it has been swallowed.
Keep using this treatment even if your symptoms have not improved after 2 weeks. If you experience symptoms of nausea, dizziness, or diarrhea after the first week of treatment, contact your healthcare provider.

Directions
Apply Lamisil Spray once a day for 7 days
1. Clean and thoroughly dry the affected areas of the skin
2. Hold the bottle upright or upside down, and spray sufficient amount to wet the treatment area thoroughly, covering the affected skin and surrounding area
3. If you need to apply Lamisil® Spray between your toes, fingers or buttocks; under a breast or armpit; or in the groin region, cover the area with gauze after the spray has been applied. This is particularly useful at bedtime.

Precautions
Lamisil Spray should only be applied to the skin on the outside of the body. Wash hands thoroughly after application to avoid infecting other parts of your body.
While the signs of the infection may disappear after using Lamisil Spray for only a few days, it is important to continue treatment for the recommended period. If you use it for only a few days, you may not eliminate the fungi from the affected areas. As a result, the infection may return soon after you stop using the product.
