The active ingredient in the topical application is terbinafine hydrochloride. Terbinafine hydrochloride is present in most preparations but can be dispersed in water.
Lamisil is excreted in the form of a cream, ointment, gel or ointment that is applied directly to the skin.

Lamisil Spray is a generic alternative to the active ingredient terbinafine hydrochloride, which works by inhibiting an enzyme called fungal cell membranes.

Directions for Use:
Take one Lamisil Spray by mouth once a day, preferably on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before your planned activity. Do not take more than one spray at a time.

Administration:

Swallow the Lamisil Spray with a full glass of water before eating. If you have trouble swallowing the tablet, swallow it whole with plenty of water.

Do not use Lamisil Spray if you are using it in combination with other treatments for fungal infections such as antifungal medications, or over-the-counter antihistamines.

Apply Lamisil Spray once a day for 7 days
1. Clean and thoroughly dry the affected areas of the skin
2. Hold the bottle upright or upside down, and spray sufficient amount to wet the treatment area thoroughly, covering the affected skin and surrounding area
3. If you need to apply Lamisil® Spray between your toes, fingers or buttocks; under a breast or armpit; or in the groin region, cover the area with gauze after the spray has been applied. This is particularly useful at bedtime.

Precautions
